DESCRIPTION:Petite-fille du peintre Théo Van Rysselberghe\, fille d’un prix Nobel de littérature amateur de peinture et ami de nombreux peintres\, Catherine Gide a hérité d’une riche collection de peintures et de dessins\, dont une centaine se trouve encore en possession de ses enfants. \nDe cette collection\, qui doit être prochainement dispersée\, les plus belles pièces sont présentées ce printemps en avant-première à la Villa Théo\, l’ancienne maison-atelier du peintre Van Rysselberghe devenue le centre d’art du Lavandou. Elles sont notamment signées Cross\, Van Rysselberghe\, Sickert\, Laurencin\, Pissarro\, Vallatton\, Vanden Eeckhoudt… \nAu cours de conférences accompagnées de projections\, lors des 7es Journées Catherine Gide les 4 et 5 avril\, ces œuvres seront commentées et expliquées par des spécialistes de ces artistes et de la période où ils ont œuvré. \n
